My Baby Girl and her Daddy

Adam took Aybelle to the Daddy Daughter Dance tonight at our local recreation center. Several of Ayla's bestest friends were there with their Daddies and fun was had by all! They gave the kids goodie bags, with lollipops and other treats inside as well as a stuffed pink pony! They included dinner, dancing and this photo. they gave it to us in color and a little blurry but I was able to salvage it and turned it into a beautiful black and white. My heart leaps when I see the joy in both of their faces. I love seeing my children and husband happy, it makes me happy and my heart then, sings. ♥

Make Over Dad Edition

My sweet girl got the idea to "make over" her father from her friend Trinity... Trinity decided to put bows in her dads hair and some eye shadow on his eyes. Ayla not wanting to be outdone went above and beyond, and did a "little bit" more than that.

What a face

This is a snapshot I took of Mr. Av last Tuesday. He was cold and our friend Randi loaned him a hat she knitted for her own son. Isn't he just the most precious thing you ever saw? {LOVE}

Its the simple joys like a sweet child's face that make me smile. Life is hard right now but my children fill it with joy and happiness that make it not so bad. :-)

My friend Serenity passed away 2 weeks ago. I've been sad and down a lot and I attribute this to her passing. She struggled and battled for 7 long years. She fought long and hard.

So its the faces of my beautiful children that get me through the day, faces like this.
