Who came to town? BILLY JONAS! Billy is our all time favorite musician. He performs using instruments that he's made from recycled items, such as plastic water jugs, shoes, bells, buckets, etc. The kids love him and we all enjoy going to see him. Billy usually performs at small venues such as the Richland County Public Library, and often times at schools and day camps all over the USA. Last week we went to see him and Aybelle and her friend were called up on stage because they were doing the sign language that went with the song, Surrender, that Billy was performing. He wanted them to come up on stage and to demonstrate it for the audience for the rest of the song. It was so cute, Aybelle was super excited to be up there with Billy.
At the end of being up on stage Billy has the guests put their arms in the air and asks them to take a bow but tells them to do it and say SUPERSTAR! (Its taken from the old Mary Katherine Gallagher skit from Saturdy Night Live no doubt!) We always have a blast when Billy comes to town! it totally stinks that my family missed this. you know we skipped it to go see the sea turtles being released on folly beach. we left the house on time and everything, but ran in to SO much traffic, we didn't make it. :( stinks! glad your family had a blast! your girl is growing! phew! tell adam to put a chastity belt on that girl. LOL
